Literally translated in Gurmukhi, “Sikh” means to learn, every single day, and to grow a little more with each new experience. In service of the Sikh community, one of the fundamental causes that Atamras supports is sponsoring a young Sikh’s education so that their pursual of a healthy learning experience can continue uninterrupted. Our intent is to help facilitate worldly as well as spiritual education for our young ones by affording them opportunities that allow them to build a strong foundation by learning in a standard school environment as well as the ability to further their Gursikhi foundation by learning classical raag based Keertan, tanti saaz, har-jass gurbani gaayan etc.
